Baby it's cold! So take a look at Mexico and warm up.Recently I decided that I very much deserved a little vacation from everything. So I booked a trip to Mexico and went- just like that. No husband, no kid, just me and my mom and a lot of Spanish speaking and local food. It was wonderful. We went to Tulum, which is a little over an hour south of Cancun. It's a no-frills sleepy beach town with not much else to do than ride bikes around "town" and go to the beach. That's just what we did. The food is amazing and the people are friendly. Take a bike, explore the neighborhood, find a restaurant with only locals, and submerge yourself in this vibrant culture. You won't be disappointed.
