The Rarebit, Upper King, Charleston SCI had the honor and pleasure of photographing a new (awesome) space on upper King Street, The Rarebit. The interior is chock full of clean, straight, mid-century modern lines, a mighty and soothing white marble bar, plaid banquettes, custom paintings, and even a few terrariums here and there. The space is comforting, cohesive, and perfectly decorated. This is a place you'd meet Don Draper (or Betty) for an Old Fashioned or two. The menu consists of simple comfort foods to please any patron. I can vouch for the Mac 'n Cheese and my husband's favorite is the Fried Chicken and Waffles. (I can also vouch for their amazing Moscow Mule(s)...) Can't wait to go back!
